Time

The time I stay at your event is up to you!

It takes 6-10 minutes to complete a portrait. This is dependent on how many folks are in each party. If it's a couple, it's more 6-8 min where a family might be closer to 10 min. 

Packages

Package 1

Flat Rate: If you're more dependent on price and want to hire me for a portion of working time, then I will get to as many guests as possible in that time frame. I can do anywhere from 6-10 parties of guests in an hour.

Package 2

Extended Stay: If you have a giant guest/attendee count and would like everyone to get a portrait, I can take photos of guests throughout the event. Toward the end of your event, I'll grab photos of anyone not able to get their portrait painted on site. I then follow up after the event over email and charge you per portrait ($15) and mail the remaining paintings to you within a few weeks.

Cost

Private Events:

If you're hiring me for a private event, I charge $250 an hour. This includes all supplies I'd be using, as well as transportation, and the cost of my assistant. If you are more than 30 minutes outside of Louisville, it's $20 per hour driving for gas $$. Have a giant event? We have other artists as part of our team you can add on.

I require a $100 deposit to hold your date and then deduct that from your final cost which can be paid anytime prior to the 2 week period before the event. I send a "one month out" email to remind you!

Public Events:

If you are inquiring for a market type setting where guests will purchase portraits individually and you provide the space, there won't be a charge as I will charge guests individually.

Payment:

I send you a link through Square to pay your deposit and then your final balance two weeks prior to the event. 

Service

As guests/attendees pass my table, my assistant will grab a photo any anyone interested in a portrait.

If you have chosen Package 1: Flat Rate, I will paint from as many of the photos I can get to in the time booked. Guests can grab their portrait as they leave the event. Any leftover portraits are turned over to you, along with any photos you may need to help identify who is in the remaining painting.

If you have chosen Package 2: Extended Stay, I will complete all remaining portraits in studio for a fee of $15 a portrait. I will make sure you get the remaining portraits within a pre-agreed upon window of time, along with photos that correspond to the additional portraits so you know who they belong to.

I arrive early (30 min to an hour) to set up and will need a table and two chairs. If you want to cover the table with a tablecloth, please do! I bring a couple of frames that include information, like how the portrait process goes, my name & Etsy & website, etc. that I set in front of my work at the table.
