I've been an artist my entire life, starting from when I was a wee girl who would draw what I envisioned when my dad would read to me and my siblings before bed. In college, I completed my BSA in Art Education and went on to teach elementary and middle school art for 5 years and some change.

While I spend my 9-5 in the higher ed realm currently, my favorite place to find myself on the weekend is painting live portraits of guests at events. Other endeavors that give me creative fulfillment are watercolor portraits, whether of a home, a couple, a family, or a combination of a few, which I receive via my Etsy.

I love the challenge of anything I am commissioned to do, i.e. hand letter addresses for wedding invitations, paint drop clothes for backdrops, mural a wall, or maybe design a tattoo. I'm kinda game for whatever you can think up and am honest about what I don't consider to be in my wheelhouse of ability.
